Tech Lead — Remote (LATAM)

Technical leadership is about making the right architectural decisions early, unblocking your team consistently, and maintaining code quality without slowing down delivery. Over 20 years, I have led teams at Globant on large-scale client projects and directed engineering at INVAP on systems where failure was not an option. That combination — startup speed with aerospace rigor — defines my leadership style.

On Pixora, I made the architecture decisions that shaped the entire product: choosing NestJS for its modular structure, designing the CI/CD pipeline with Docker and AWS, and establishing code review standards that caught bugs before they reached staging. On GoJiraf, I introduced Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) so the team could understand not just what we built but why we built it that way. In both cases, I wrote production code alongside the team — I believe a tech lead who does not code loses touch with the real challenges.

I work remotely from LATAM (GMT-3), which gives US and European teams real-time overlap during business hours. My communication style is direct, documented, and async-friendly.
